In the global era, before involving in the project, it becomes essential for individuals to evaluate the project so that sufficient decisions can be made. (Eke & Genco, 2007) According to the scenario, as a government employee, contractor offered a proposal of two-billion-dollar ($2,000,000,000). That is related to the purchasing of fifty two towers to be installed in the Arizona-Mexico border that is a big deal and having an opportunity for growth. These towers will have radar, night vision, and day vision with 7.5- mile range. So, on paper, technical evaluation of the project will be discussed to include the purpose of evaluation, the importance of integrity and fairness and used factors to determine this. Moreover, methods of price analysis will be also discussed in the paper to make a sound judgment over the selection of the prizes.

Purpose of Technical Evaluation:

It is imperative for the government to maintain the trust of the public at all times while conducting business. This is laid out in Far1.102-2(c)(3):

The Government will perform and exercise private and sound judgement, will adhere to the laws and regulations outlined in the body of the contract for contractors and potiential contdractors. This section states the government will not be bias toward current or future contractors; all will received the equal and fair treatment. (Compton, 2010)

Before involving in any project, it becomes important for individual to analyze the requirements of the project so that sufficient decisions can be taken to move the project into the right direction.
