Objective

The objective of the project is to provide us with an opportunity to understand how ERP systems are designed, implemented and managed in organizations.

Organization chosen: PepsiCo

PepsiCo is a global food and beverage leader with net revenues of more than $65 billion and a product portfolio that includes 22 brands that generate more than $1 billion each in annual retail sales. It is an American multinational food and beverage corporation headquartered in Purchase, New York, United States, with interests in the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of grain-based snack foods, beverages, and other products. PepsiCo was formed in 1965 with the merger of the Pepsi-Cola Company and Frito-Lay, Inc. The company's products are distributed across more than 200 countries. Based on net revenue, PepsiCo is the second largest food & beverage business in the world.

PepsiCo entered India in 1989 and in a short period, has grown into one of the largest and fastest growing food and beverage businesses in the country.

4. Human resources
