Essay #2
My work so far this semester has been interesting. I feel that I generally really understand the material and that my projects have been good but my test did not go so well. I definitely put the time into the work and I re listen to the pod casts (those really help!). I haven’t come to see you yet with my work questions but I have gotten help from other classmates and before the next test I will for sure be using your office hours. I didn’t make a good formula sheet and that’s really what killed me on the recent test I just didn’t know what to do and got really confused so next time I will focus on that. Besides the test I think things are going great I really hope I could get a B in this class or even an A that would be awesome! At the begging of the semester I was just overwhelmed and thought I would never understand the math but I actually get most of it and that was a big surprise. I think for me learning math is essential because I really want to own a store someday and I know that math is involved with everyday life in a store so I hope that this course will help with that. I hope that my next test will go better than the last and that if I can use a formula sheet again that will help, corrections are super awesome because you can show that you did know what you were doing but maybe you messed up a step so you can get some points back which I think is a really great idea because going back through my corrections actually helped me understand it more and I hope that the projects will lift my grade so far they have been fun and ive learned a lot of new things!
