When I had my double knee replacement, I had to purchase a new car. The car I was driving had a clutch, and after the surgery I would not be able to drive it because of the pressure it would take to push the clutch in to change the gears. I talked to my sons, and they figured the value of my old car. Then we looked at different cars and evaluated them for safety, price, warranties, and value. We picked three different brands of cars.

With this information we went shopping. While we were at a local car dealer, I was about to give up and we started looking at cars that we had not researched, but that I liked the way they looked. We test drove a car, and I just really didn’t like it. As we returned with the car, and was walking back into the building, I spotted a car. We walked over to it, and realized it was one that was on our list. We test drove it, and decided it was the one.

I think the process we went thorough in making a decision about buying a car and actually buying the car was pretty close to the stages of decision making. First we recognized that we needed to buy a car. Then we looked at different solutions as far as types and prices of cars. We analyzed or evaluated which type would be the best. We took the information, and went and found the right car, and realized it fit within the parameters we had set for a car. We then checked for financing called the insurance company and with this information made the final decision that we could finalize the sale.
