It is anticipated that shipment volume of the industry will decline slower than expected in the fourth quarter of 2014 as some PC brands have placed more orders with contract makers in attempt to take advantage of the cut-back decision of branded vendors like Sony, Samsung, and Toshiba for their notebook PC business.
