Chapter 1: Introduction

Every company needs an effective and accurate record of sale’s to assure its revenue. A record of sale’s system is a combination of software and hardware that receives service usage information and groups this information for specific accounts or customers, reports for sales, and record of payments.

Voyaging in the field of property leasing, Nature Sparkle is using standard manual process in accomplishing tasks. Too much time consumption in completing every task is the situation that leads the company to the need of enhancement to its current state of the process.

The focus of this study entitled Computerized Records of Sales for Nature Sparkle is to develop a software application that will elevate the effectiveness of administrative response to a tasking by higher authority, in general, the effectiveness and accuracy of the Nature Sparkle’s records of sales system.

To do so, Team Adriot have set our main goal to be obtained within the whole process of this study; to develop a program that will be using minimal time consumption that will lead to the elevation of the effectiveness and accuracy of the Nature Sparkle’s records of sales system.

1.1Background of the Study

This study, the Computerized Records of Sales System for Nature Sparkle, came into existence with our need, Team Adriot. for a study to be conducted (as requirement addressed by our school, Datacom Institute of Computer Technology), and Nature Sparkle need for computerized records of sales system.

Manual data manipulation by the employees causes too much time consumption that lessens the effectiveness and accuracy of the company’s records of sales system, which is our team’s goal to be eliminated from the current state of the process.
