1. Macro environment – PESTLE analysis

* POLITICAL stability is one of the most important preconditions for sustainable development in all aspects of a country.

Vietnam can be considered as a nation with relative stable political environment and social order under the leadership of the Communist Party, which would consequently create favorable business environment for the development of economy, population, education and so on.

For an education institution like FTU, political stability is utmost essential. The most crucial thing one hope to get from studying in university is an orientation and guarantee for a career in the future. And the only way to satisfy the need and want for a career, especially in economic field, is to make sure all the functions of the economy go well. Obviously, the first and foremost condition – the stability of the political environment first of all will lead to the stability of business environment and other factors influencing Vietnam’s economy as a whole. Domestic and foreign investors would feel more comfortable and secured in such environment. Vietnam now is open to international commerce. The State also provides consistent policy to improve the political and legislative system on the trend to be more convenience for civil and entrepreneurs. Once trust and relationships are established, increasing investments into Vietnam would result in more business success and more employment available in the labor market. Particularly when FTU specializes in providing courses in economics, international trade and other related activities, such favorable environment is necessary to ensure the stable and high-quality inputs – students and lecturer as fundamental human resources.
