Asian Carp; If you can't beat 'em eat 'em
I picked this news story because I thought it was an interesting story. I have heard about these Asian carp fish and what they are doing to the other fish. I’m from Michigan and don’t want to see any fish go extinct. If these Asian carp were to get into the Great Lakes and start to eat the food that is meant for the other fish like salmon, trout, herring, smelt, bass, walleye, and perch they might become endangered. This clip is showing us that these fish are dangerous and not really a fish someone woul d like to eat. They need to be controlled and maybe a market needs to go into effect. I don’t think a market for this fish is in the near future. I really don’t know about fish period but I would really never consider Asian carp to eat. I would like to see them just get caught and then took somewhere and killed. I don’t really know what they real meaning for this type of fish is but I could live without this type of fish. I enjoy catching fish and others enjoy eating those that are worth the eat. I have only heard about this in recent months that these fish are becoming a problem that will soon be too big to get hold of. As far as the news writer and anchor Sarah Sell goes I have found nothing that gives the wrong impression of her and her expertise on this type of story. She did a wonderful job and got straight to the point.
