CONSTITUTION

OF THE ASSOCIATION

OF

LABOUR SUPPLY COMPANIES

OF

C.M.C.

1. NAME:

The name of the Association is the Association of Labour Supply Companies of C.M.C.

2. OBJECTS:

The objects of the Association are to promote and provide for the benefit of the Labour Supply Companies of C.M.C.

(a) To offer assistance to active members with good standing in case they are sanctioned by C.M.C.

(b) To support the application or request of members of good standing for financial assistance from C.M.C.

(c) To co-ordinate the activities of members.

(d) To promote the interest of members generally.

(e) The Association shall be the link between member companies and C.M.C. and shall conduct all negotiations with C.M.C. on their behalf.

(f) The Association is to partner C.M.C. to help to improve the operations of members so as to lift the image of Cocobod, the Association as well as member companies.

(g) To organise training programmes for its members to adopt good practices in their operations, thereby offering quality services to C.M.C.

(h) To ensure strict compliance of C.M.C. regulations on labour supply activities.

(i) To set up a secretariat with a database system to help know the state of the cocoa sector.

(j) Members to take measures to ensure that the secretariat functions effectively.

3. MEMBERS:

a) Every company licenced to supply labour to C.M.C. shall automatically become a member of the Association and shall be expected to observe and comply with the regulations of the Association.

b) The names and addresses of every director shall be given to the secretary of the Association.

c) The Secretary shall keep a register of all Directors and enter in it the names and addresses of the said directors.

d) The Secretary shall always communicate to members any new C.M.C. policy guidelines.
