EVEY HAMMOND

Evey Hammond (starring Natalie Portman) is one of the protagonists of the film “V for Vendetta”. The character plays an essential part in the film’s success because she does not only shape the plot but also provides a narrative point of view of the film.

Point of view

Point of view refers to who tells a story and how it is told. Besides the objective point of view which employs a narrator who does not see the characters’ minds or give any evaluation, there is Evey’s point of view that provides an in-depth look at V- the other protagonist. He is the one who has changed Evey’s life completely and freed her from fear and sorrow. He puts an end to the corrupted tyrannical government, he’s a terrorist and at the same time a savior that no one could forget. He is the man that Eve loves with all her heart.

In terms of development, Evey is a dynamic character who undergoes remarkable changes through numerous...
