People just naturally resist change. We don’t continue on as we are. We always change and will forever change. If we don’t change we don’t grow. Change can be a positive force, only we as humans have the ability to change something, if we choose to change it. It all involves human behavioral and the acceptance of change. This is natural behavior. People will always resist change. Changing people’s behavior can be the most difficult and important in the overall change process. For example, without employee participation change cannot occur. Managers as well must help with the process of change. Employee resistance has been identified as a critically important contributor to the failure of many well intended efforts to initiate change within the organization. There are many reasons for resistance to change; one can assume that it could be the fear of the unknown. Change occurs in many different forms and is carried out in many different ways. Sometimes, people reject change, I sometimes reject change, knowing that I have to change for the better. Sometimes I feel, if people we love would just accept the change and go with it, they would understand where the change was coming from. I feel that it is dangerous to try to stop change and argue against it, especially if the person wants to change so much. I feel that the reason that somebody wants to change is usually not by choice but a feeling that the person feels inside their minds and hearts, it’s natural to resist change.
