ANIMAL CRUELTY IN OUR SOCIETY

What could be the problem in today’s society when it comes to animal cruelty, and could this be punishable by law?

Animal cruelty is a problem in our communities considering the carelessness of human beings, and the mistreatment of animals; this problem can be solved by providing more education when it comes to the caring for animals. Animal cruelty is also brutal acts upon nature’s creatures for example starvation, dogfighting, and keeping them outside in poor weather conditions such as extreme heat or cold weather, and the government needs to take into account and establish some laws that are punishable for the mistreatment of animals. I am currently doing my research in support with my topic from these two particular sources; http://www.nowpublic.com/environment/animal-cruelty-facts-prevention-statistics-and-action-2886267.html, http://www.humanesociety.org/issues/abuse_neglect/facts/animal_cruelty_facts_statistics.html

So over the course of this week my focus will be going into finding more resources on animal cruelty, knowing that this paper requires more sources I plan on doing more internet searches and also accessing DeVry’s student library. My paper will consist of facts, statics, and also ways that animal cruelty can be prevented.
