2% unemployment rate for 2nd quarter of 2014 decreased to 1.9% by the 3rd quarter of 2014. The average unemployment rate from 1986 to 2014 is 2.49%. Highest record was 6% in 1st quarter of 1986 while 1.9% was the lowest record in 2nd quarter of 1990.
Goal
Our goal is for the entire population of unemployed Singaporeans to have the motivation and be determined to be employed hopefully before the end of 2015.

Targeted at the unemployed Singaporeans as of November 2014

To decrease the unemployment rate by at least 10% in the next 5 years
Achievable
There was an increase in the number of job vacancies in Singapore, from 12,000 to 63,900 from 1990 to the 2nd quarter of 2014
Realistic
Singaporeans are capable, just unmotivated & lazy

Find a job before the end of 2015
Factors that lead to unemployment
1. Improve in technology which does not required a lot of human labor.
2. Changed of work force demographics
3. Recognizing and responding to differences.

Strategies
1. Pursue a higher education which will enhance your portfolio so as to impress your employer
2. Upgrade skills in the working force so to keep up with the latest improvement and knowledge
3. Reduction of foreign talents so that the competition for jobs is lesser.
4. Support in entrepreneurship so that there will be more jobs create within Singapore
5. Wide network which help you to have more opportunities to meet different people
Plan
1. When Singaporean have specialize skill and knowledge, they will know their job well and therefore they will have the confident to handle the situation.
2. When there is lesser competition, the employment rate will decrease because of lesser people fighting for the job.
