Educational Goals

The wise man isn’t the man who never committed errors, the wise man is the man who accepted his errors and learns from them.

College graduate is my educational goal, in high school you have administrators pushing you to succeed, to be on time and be prepared totally different from college. You have to push yourself and strive for that diploma that they have talked to you about since you entered Junior high. Overcoming laziness, stress or money situations, you will look back on with relief from your successes.

Juggling your personal responsibilities with school is the hardest. I attend Templo Emmanuel and I am a youth leader, in charge of the welcome committee. I make and hand out packages to the visitors at our church every service. I am also in charge on Tuesday’s of covering the desk to count the offering for our church and preacher, and on Thursday I teach a class of five to eight year olds. I usually stay after school for cheerleading or tennis practice so by the time I get home I only have time to eat and get ready for church. On certain days I do have a hard time with homework, studying, making posters and welcome committee bags but Wednesday is my time to catch up on the things that I got behind on. I love being active in my church and school it keeps me busy and involved with many people. It has shown me responsibility, dedication and selflessness.

Without education where would we stand today? Education plays a very interesting role in everyday life. You have to read to in order to go places, You have to know math to save money, You have to know a little science to understand what your doctors are trying to explain to you, and its good to know history so you know what didn’t work in the past and have a chance of avoiding similar mistakes. I want to be someone in life, I don’t want to be someone who didn’t finish what they started. If I graduated from elementary to middle school to high school what makes me think I can’t end the cycle and add college.
