Research Strategy – Positive Time Management
In today’s society being a college student is extremely different from the years past where all those students did was attend classes and party like they had no worries or care. Their parents were their primary resource for obtaining any of their needs. Today college campuses continue to cater to the same students, but now their parents as well as many others are now attending college too. The lives of these students can range anywhere from working full time jobs to taking care of their families and battling the never-ending saga of parenthood. In order to manage their time effectively these students are building personal calendars, buying PDA’s to track their schedules or putting to use the great technology that has been developed called cell phones. Cell phones aka “smart phones” allow people to basically keep every important detail of their lives in their pocket at all times. If a student can learn how to manage their time effectively, it will help reduce their stress levels as well as reach the goals that they have set.
One might ask where they can find out more information to help them with learning positive time management. If you are a student you could search the internet or check with your school library to see if they may have different resources available for you. When searching the internet for time management students should be careful of what they are reading. The majority of the websites on your basic internet search will only offer vague details suggesting a multitude of way to effectively manage your time. There are many other sources available without to sift through junk. The most valid websites will generally be followed by “edu, org, state, and gov.” If you choose to visit your local library, you may have better luck finding credible information in either books or magazine articles.
