STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

My friends describe me as a pleasant, hardworking, and a helpful woman. Apart from technical aptitude and interest in management I have a passion for traveling and understanding different cultures of the world. Both my parents being teachers’ discipline was imbibed at a very early age. Even with the limited resources my parents made me study in English medium school, I scored well and persuaded my further studies in Production Engineering from Shantilal Shah Engineering College., Bhavnagar. I was easily able to cope with the new environment and was one of the top scorers in my department. I actively participated in almost all the college events and functions. As a member in organizer committee I have hosted many functions as the lead anchor, organized various educational seminars, paper and poster presentations. I have even worked as Training and Placement Coordinator in my final year.

But I got my direction to pursue a management career two years back in 2013, when I realized my passion for management. I was representing my department being a part of a team of 8 members who organized, managed and hosted A National level Technical Fest “SAMANVAY - The Youth United” at our college campus. Engineering students from all over the Gujarat had participated in various technical and nontechnical events. That was the first ever mega event that brought success on the name of our college Shantilal Shah Engineering College, when the government of Gujarat provided us with a fund of 15 crores which is now being used for the construction of individual departmental buildings at our campus and establishment of upgraded instruments & machines in our workshops and labs. After the grand success of this event I realized my potential in handling multiple jobs at a time and in dealing with people of diversified natures. Since then I firmly made up my mind to set my career goals in management sector.
