Abstract

Ebola virus formerly known as Ebola hemorrhagic fever, highly pathogenic for humans and non human, is now one of the most feared pathogens worldwide. As of 2014, an epidemic of Ebola virus disease (EVD) is still active in West Africa and continuing its spread throughout West Africa. The outbreak began in Guinea which is located on the west side of Africa in the year 2013. But it was only detected by March 2014. Entire health systems have crumbled. Ebola treatment centers are reduced to places where people go to die alone, where little more than palliative care is offered. It is impossible to keep up with the sheer number of infected people pouring into facilities. In Sierra Leone, infectious bodies are rotting in the streets.”
