Religions May Affect People in Many Different Ways.

Religion has had a significant effect on the world in so many different ways. People have waged wars in the name of religion throughout history. When people wage war in the name of religion there is a path of destruction that is left behind. Millions of people lost their lives during the Holy Crusades in 1096 thru 1272. During these years there were nine crusades with over 6,000,000 deaths. During these times people fought in the name of Christ to take the Holy Land back from non-Christians. Wars over the Holy land have not ever really ended if you think about it. Even after the crusades ended there have been countless wars in the Middle East that are over taking back the Holy Land, and about fighting for a group’s religion. Even today we are still battling with others over religion. ISIS is an Islamic group that considers their fight as a religious duty, and believes that they shall be rewarded in the after life for fighting for their faith.

The world has lost so much in the name of religion. Every war cost money so that means our economy will go down more with every fight. The world loses so many people in wars, and that affects the world more ways than we care to think about.

Imagine if all the people that have not died in these wars had lived. If these people had survived they would have had children that could have been great inventors you just never know how much that these wars that are involved with religion might have really affected the world.
