  My name is Jenny. I am 19 years old. I come from Viet Nam. I have been Melbourne for five months and I am studying English course at Victoria University. I love English because English is a language, which has great reach and influence and it is taught all over the world under many different circumstances. Now, I will talk about my pathway until I study English now and my future plans.

The first time I came here, everything very different with me. When I went to English school, I began to study level 2 English courses. I felt very sock because everything is very new with me such as: different environment, learn, transport, language, culture and so on. In school, my teachers always spoke English and sometimes I couldn't understand what did the teacher said. But only after one week, I could understand teacher taught. After five weeks, I passed level 2 and went to level 3. The first time I went to level 3, I lost my class because my school forgot writes my name in level 3, but then I came 3E class. Level 3 was more difficult than level 2. It was have a lot of homework and study. I studied hard and went to school every day. But after five weeks, I couldn't pass level because I didn't pass writing and I kept study level 3 again. I felt very uncomfortable and upset. But after that, I was thinking about why I couldn’t pass, so I try to study harder and looking for much knowledge. Then, I had pass level 3 with ten weeks study, I was very happy because I had tried and I was successful.

Now, I am studying level 4. I have many new friends, but I still have some friends I knew before. I know I need to improve my writing because it will prepare me for my mainstream studies. I am enjoying my English course of level 4. However, I will study harder, since I don’t want to fall level 4 the same level 3 and I have to pass it in order to enroll in my mainstream.
