EFFECTIVE HUMAN RESOURCES SYSTEM AT SWISSPORT EMSA ORGANIZATION

INTRODUCTION

The effective HR management at my organization Swissport Emsa is about setting the right roles and responsibilities with strategic goals and objectives in order to improve the business performance and developing the organizational culture. HR activities such as recruitment, selection, training and rewarding personnel are done by keeping in view the company´s goals and objectives. Swissport focuses on identifying, analyzing and balancing two sorts of forces that is the organization´s external opportunities and threats on one hand and its internal strengths and weaknesses on the other. “The organization has to offer a valuable HR Career as they receive the right mix of the competencies and skills and they are fully compliant with the organization’s corporate culture”. (Lambert, 2010)

1. ORGANIZATION STRATEGIC CHALLENGES

In a constantly changing environment, Swissport Emsa must be able to detect new opportunities and challenges and give themselves the means to act upon them successfully. More than anything, this ambition involves listening to our customers in order to appreciate their present and future needs. It is also important to know our competitors’ responses to similar needs, and to form an idea of the reasons for their success or failure. Another key that the organization apply is to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the company before venturing into unknown territory. Being able to seize strategic opportunities also involves shortening production cycles and remaining constantly alert in order to find the right people to help the company rise to strategic challenges.

The principal challenge of my organization is attracting and keeping good people. As we believe that people are the key to our business succeeding and many times as leaders we focus on the great people we have and we provide lots of energy and time for them, also is...
