OUR DEFINITION OF STRATEGIC STAFFING

Our definition of Strategic Staffing is a process for defining and addressing the staffing inferences of the company’s strategic and operational plans. It is a function to recruit and retain our employees to perform their jobs in our business. It is also our strategy to address needs and fill in gaps of recruiting, developing and maintaining employees.

JOB ANALYSIS

Identifies the best person needed for a job and the nature of the job. It is gathered information for a job in the organization that includes the task, results of products or services, equipment, materials used, and work environment. The information is use as a databased for a developmental process (Gatewood, Feild, & Barrick, 2010, p11). The data is used to identify the knowledge, skills, abilities, duties and responsibilities needed to perform a job and offer a source of legal defense of charge and selection procedures. Data is gathered through observation, questionnaires and interviewing to prepare job descriptions and job specifications. Results from the analysis are then implemented to reflect the goals of the company.

OUR APPROACH TO THE JOB ANALYSIS PROCESS

Our approach to the job analysis involves the employee, and it’s superior. We notify employees and provide enough time to perform each method. We conduct analysis by observing, answering a questionnaire form, and interviewing a select group that relate to the job. We use the O*Net model to help collect and record job-related data for a large number of jobs at once ("Job Analysis Tools," 2013).
