An organizations corporate culture relates to how the organization basically does things. Corporate culture “involves a learned set of behaviors that is common knowledge to all the participants” () of that organization. Next Step is an organizations whose corporate culture or organizational culture is one that that does anything necessary in order to be the top competitor. The corporate culture of an organization can be a downfall and cause operational obstacles for the organization to overcome because the way that the organization does things in business practice are not always ethical. Ethics plays a major role in the decision that is made by Indi duals who are seeking employment with a company. In this case Ramona, is a recent graduate of Liberty University. She has been recruited by Next Stop, a company dealing with herbal medicine to be a part of their growing team. Ramona was provided with the opportunity to enjoy a weekend retreat to see more about her future employer. The ways in which things are done at the weekend retreat provided Ramona with a viewpoint of the corporate culture of Next Step, also various articles were read and questions asked by Ramona gave a perspective of the beliefs, values and ethics of Next Step. Next Step is a company that Ramona should not seek employment with because of the company uses the strategy of do anything necessary to earn the top dollar.

Another aspect for Ramona to consider in her decision is the spiritual side of the company. The company does not have or shows a loving, caring, compassionate side within the industry of crating herbal medicines or supplements. They only seem to view their customers as a dollar figure from the way that images are portrayed as Next Step traveling all over the world to find the best products. When marketing is only taking pictures from foreign countries and adding a false caption to the bottom of the image. Honesty is not being portrayed by Next Step, they are doing all research...
