Stress is the bodies reaction towards any demand for change from external or internal stimuli. It is noted that no specifications were given to imply that stress is not beneficial. In fact, it motivates humans to achieve more and surpass their average capabilities. Harm only comes when too much stressors affect their lives. (Selye. 1936)

Stress is categorized into two: Eustress and Distress. Eustress is the good kind of stress, indeed numerous people enjoy this kind of stress due to the motivation it brings and the feeling of significance it offers, after all the society's standards dictates that more workload equates to more importance. Distress on the other hand is the bad kind of stress and is the most habitually associated to an individual's everyday living. It is determined that distress comes when eustress becomes intolerable. Stress is often compared by psychologists to the water and glass allegory, the source of which is unknown. It muses about a physician holding a glass of water filled halfway who asked an audience how heavy the glass is, answers ranged from a half litter, quarter litter and so on. But the physician denied all their answers, stating that the actual weight of the glass didn't matter, it depends on how long a person holds it, because the longer it is held the heavier it gets. Much like stress, no matter how serious the problem is, when held for a short period of time it becomes eustress but the longer it is held it becomes graver and turns into distress which in turn becomes harmful.
