McDonald’s

I. Company Background

1. The name of the American multinational company is McDonald’s. McDonald’s conducts business around the world within over 121 countries and has more than 33,000 outlets worldwide. Although most of their outlets are located in the United States, the following is a list of the regions where McDonald’s is also located: North American, Caribbean, Central America, Oceania, Asia, Europe, South America, Africa, Middle East, and in the Caucasus.

2. McDonald’s has been in service for fast food since 1955. In the United States in particular, McDonald’s has employees around 400,000 and it is ranked to be America’s third largest employer. Since McDonald’s also operates in more than 121 countries, they employ more than 1.5 million people.

3. McDonald’s has a variety of foods and services they provide for their consumers. They are the largest chain of fast food restaurants and they provide burgers, fries, beverages, salads, and deserts and shakes. They also have services such as providing free Wi-Fi that attracts more customers to their locations and they also provide play places inside of their restaurants so that children and families can enjoy their stay and throw parties if they insist.

4. McDonald’s history origin begins with the story of Ray Kroc. Ray Kroc was only fifteen when he was working for the Red-Cross in 1917, then he was a piano player and then a multi-mixer salesman. In 1954, he received a huge order from a restaurant in San Bernardino, California. It was there where he met the brothers Dick and Mac McDonald and was astonished by the efficiency of their success of their work. Kroc then stepped forward with his vision and created McDonald’s restaurants all over the United States for the brothers. And in 1955, he founded the McDonald’s Corporation and bought the exclusive rights to the McDonald’s name five years later.
