That is exactly what new author Kerrie Carnes Salwa does in her recently released book, Tiny Conversations. Tiny Conversations is based on the Facebook posts that Salwa shared with her friends and family after having discussions about her life with her young twin daughters. Faced with the reality that her life was filled with bumps in the road her mother's second cancer diagnosis, the deaths of her sister and her father, a small business that simply wasn't doing as well as she had hoped, and her rejection from fulltime employment that she was overqualified for she turned to her twin daughters as therapy. Discussing with them her day and the things that she was facing and then sharing these conversations on Facebook was not only entertaining to her family and Facebook friends but became a way for Salwa to express her deepest emotions and heal from the losses and challenges that she was facing. These conversations became the springboard from which Tiny Conversations was born. "This book is really my heart," said Salwa. "Sharing the challenges that I was going through in a transparent way within the context of talking to young children who really had no idea what I was talking about ended up being one of my best tools to cope.
