ABSTRACT

In this emerging world of computers all most all manual system automated and computerized but maximum of them are so complex and a common user is unable to operate that software system. We are developing the “Online Railway Reservation System” to model the present system and to remove the drawbacks.

Railway reservation system is an integrated web application which provides the public with access to reliable information about the availability of seats, general information about trains, pnr status & current status of ticket booked.

Through this software user can book ticket for journey. Every user will have a customized page on this page every information about his previous booked tickets will be available. This page can be accessed by them with the aid of his/her username, password. Through the links that is displayed in the home page, the user can access different options of the railway reservation website and browse through the webpage for required information. It has a user-friendly GUI which gives you a better overview about the online ticket reservation system.
