As tattoos continue to grow in popularity, many people have tattoos imprinted on their body. Tattoos can be seen almost everywhere. Decades ago, tattoos are considered as a sign of rebellion but nowadays it is a fashion trend among the public. Despite the trend, some people react negatively saying that it is ugly and disgusting and would regret them in 80 years. Personally, I do not mind people having tattoos. A tattoo is a form of expressing oneself, remembering significant moments and people in your life, trials you overcame and symbols that have meaning and/or you liked the design. I, myself, considered having one when I get older. If you are already an elderly, would you even be conscious of your skin looking saggy with tattoos. I do not think so. There are many misconceptions about tattoos. Some people think that you would not get a real job if you have one. Nevertheless, there are heavily tattooed scientists at NASA and heavily tattooed lawyers. Usually, you could just cover most of your tattoos. Another is that there is a risk of infection from unsterilized needles but even in clinics and hospitals, you could get an infection if their apparatuses are not clean. It is also not true that by having a tattoo would cause blood poisoning and hinders you to donate blood. You must at least wait for 12 months, as a precaution, before having your blood donated to avoid Hepatitis. Do not mind what other people say about you. Tattoos were meant to please yourself and no other people.
