CHAPTER 1

1.0 Introduction

Automated inventory is a task that system can do, comparing the manual one is much different. In manual entering stocking in and out of the items is complicated, while in electronic process the inventory of the items can be easy.

It is a solution designed with an optimized and systematic that has a user-friendly interface as well as a systematic and automated approach for easier handling and improvement of data.

1.1 Background of the Study

A & M Enterprises was established on January 8, 2014 with a starting capital of 1.8 million pesos. They sale hardware materials and motor parts. The store was located at Zone 2, Tiguma National Highway, Pagadian City. The enterprises started with three (3) employees namely; Philip Soriano, Jefferson Bagaforo, and Evelyn Luniza. A & M Enterprises was owned and managed by Mr. & Mrs. Ace Vergil P. Soriano.

1.2 Research Objectives

 To be able to study the functions of inventory system;

 To be able to tract the lacking items/stocks in the store;

 To be able to solve the problem in the manual process;

1.3 Scope and Limitation

This study covers stock in & stock out control. It analyzes opening of new stocks, stock updates and ability to view the available items/product. It provides quick way of operation by capturing the manual process and automating them.
