HILLSBORO COUNTY HOME HEALTH AGENCY, INC.

The Hillsboro County Home Health Agency (HCHHA), originally named the Middleboro Home Health Agency (MHHA), Inc. was founded in CY-68 as a non-profit home health agency to provide health care services to the area's population. Three years ago, in conjunction with it establishing an office in Jasper, it changed its name to reflect better its countywide orientation. Today, it is the only home health agency that is Medicare certified located in Hillsboro County. The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) accredits it.

Mission

The mission of HCHHA is to serve individuals in their usual environments being concerned with well people and the sick and disabled. We also provide information and encouragement to individuals and families, special groups, and the community, as a whole for the promotion of health. New directors and officers take their positions beginning July 1st.

The Executive Committee (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) of the Board meets, as needed, with the Executive Director to resolve special issues and plan board meetings. In April of each year, the Executive Committee...
