1. Who are the primary stakeholders of Knights Apparel?

Primary stakeholders are those who depend on a company’s financial well-being for their own and those who have a direct interest in a company, engaging in economic transactions with the business such as stockholders, customers, suppliers, creditors, and employees.

Knights Apparel founded in 2001 by Joe Bozich is the largest supplier of college licensed apparel in the United States. The primary stakeholders of the company include:

Customers: The university students are the target market of the firm.

Employees: The employees working at Knights Apparel, the 1200 workers displaced in 2007 and the 120 workers of the model factory.

Suppliers and distributors: The 30 factories worldwide with which the firm has contracts and the universities and retailers that promote and sell their merchandise in their stores.

2. For each stakeholder group, what are their major concerns?

Customer concerns may arise due to issues over product quality, the price and also their purchase behaviour could vary due to their ethical or not business practices

The competition that would be threatened if the model factory succeeds.

The founder, Joe Bozich will be worried if this type of business will attract to customers and consequently gain benefits. Also, the involvement of its employers and the creation of a communication and publicity plan in order to be known and to show his strategy.

The suppliers would want to give to the firm a good quality of service and products and would want this company to succeed.

Alta Gracia and its workers would benefited if this factory model succeeds and they would want to accomplish their duties.
