An understanding of organizational behavior will be vital to managers. More and more people pay attention to organizational behavior simply because it’s object of study are human behavior and psychology. As we all know, an important feature of the market economy is full of competition, which is ultimately a human competition, a competition of people’s quality, in other words, it’s a competition of human mental activity and behavior. Therefore, a noticeable feature of the modern enterprise management is "people oriented".

Studying organizational behavior will help managers to apply all the knowledge to their workforce, such as encourage employees, be responsible for making direction of the company and establish the developing strategic planning and providing excellent customer service; guidance and integrated self-managed work teams; establish an appropriate performance appraisal system for employee incentives, promotions.

As a manager, First of all, showing respect to my employees can enable staff to keep loyal and stay focus on their works, which is the foundation of sustainable competitive advantage. Second, organization by focusing on investing in sustainable competitive advantage to seek future earnings, while holding continued competitive advantage is based on the following initiatives: strengthen workforce’s training and developing; job satisfaction makes employees to complete their works better. This is actually a win-win for an enterprise.
