The symposium is really informative and educational especially to every graduating student like me. The speaker talks about the career waiting for us as we enter the corporate world. First he tackled what will be the move after we graduated. Where to apply is it in manila or abroad? The answer depends on our decision. In what kind of company the choice depends on our expertise and course we took. He also discussed about some tips and guidelines on how to prepare for a job interview. From the proper attire, way you answer interviewer questions, being self-confident, preparing for a great resume, as well as the dos and don’ts during job interview. He even gives tips on how to answer and handle certain job interview question easily and confidently. And once we choose to work abroad he discussed also what will be our preparation in applying. He gives lists of legal agency that is accredited by POEA. The speaker tackled also the all the documents needed once you are hired to work outside the country. He even adds to his discussion about every employee rights so that we are aware about it. Employee benefits like for instance SSS, Pag-ibig, leave and so on and so forth. How to compute employee salary and 13th month pay. At last he also discussed duties and responsibilities as an employee. To do our job and obey every company rules and regulations is also one of the topics he discussed.
