1. What are the symptoms of anemia?

1. Are the lab results of the CBC normal? Which values are normal and which are not? Why are there different normal values for hemoglobin levels and RBC count in males and females?

The results are abnormal. Hemoglobin, MCV, and WBC are abnormal RBC and platelet count are normal. Males have a higher testosterone which is a very potent anabolic which causes hemoglobin counts to be higher than that of their female counterparts.

2. Why was an analysis of Mr. and Mrs. Stamos’ blood ordered? Would a picture of Mr. Stamos’ red blood cells look like Nikoleta’s red blood cells?

To check for family history of the same blood condition. No it would not because his counts for hemoglobin and RBC would be different so a sample from the mother is required for a comparison.

3. Do red blood cells normally have nuclei? What is erythroblastic anemia?

No in mammals there is not normally a nucleus. Erythroblastic anemia is a condition in which the blood cells are slightly enlarged and discolored.
