Introduction
We are going to organize a 6-days-5 night’s study tour to Singapore within the budget $10,000 per person (2nd July to 7th July). All HKCC students are eligible to apply for this trip and an interview will be conducted to select 25 students. This is a single-use plan. It is a one-time plan specifically designed to meet the need of a unique situation. The following are the managerial theories that have been used.
Planning – To identify the goal
Formal planning refers to defining goals, establishing strategies to achieve goals, and developing plans to integrate and coordinate activities. It reduces uncertainty as well as minimizes waste and redundancy. At the beginning of our project, we first establish the goal for this trip as broaden students’ horizon.
Singapore matches our goal as it is a bilingual and green country. Students can communicate with Singaporeans and travel around the country .Besides, the price of trip to Singapore is relatively lower than other countries such as Japan, England and Australia so it’s more affordable for students. We sincerely hope that most of students can enjoy our study tour and do not need to worry about the budget.
