1-4- In what ways does Amazon, as a company, evidence the willingness and ability to collaborate? According to the textbook on page 8, collaboration is the activity of two or more people working together to achieve a common, goal, result, or work product. In general, employees collaborate by sharing ideas and proposals with one another to carry out a specific task for a project. The ability to provide the necessary feedback, whether negative or positive, is essential for productive collaboration. Amazon employees work tirelessly to collaborate in effective teams to fulfill Amazon’s services, which include online retailing, order fulfillment, and cloud services. One example that I know of is that Amazon employees study key purchasing metrics such as open rate, opt out, click rate in order classify customers into certain purchasing categories that Amazon can use for custom marketing. Banners on Amazon itself or on social media will show up many times after a customer has been viewing a product on their site.

Amazon used experimentation by envisioning potential solutions for app developers to be paid using an alternative source of funding through Amazon Coins. Developers will still receive the same 70% revenue that Amazon promises is the same monetary value as if paid with a credit or debit card by the customer. It seems Amazon is making a reasoned analysis in response to rising identity theft and fraudulent credit card purchases in online shopping. It is obvious that innovation is persistently being developed at Amazon and giving their employees the freedom to promote new ideas on a daily basis.
