Chapter I: Human Resource Management System

Introduction

A Human Resource Management System (HRMS) is an integrated system providing information used by HR management in decision making. It improves data management and management tracking of recruitment data. The Jeannie’s Touch Human Resource we’re located at Sta. Rosa. The overall clients of JTMSI are 15, and employed employer is 40. The proposal made more on applicant and employee, payroll due to the observance in the recruitment process of the company. The flow of their existing system are more payroll and for the employee only. The System to be proposed is to accomplish the needed things of HR in applicant recruitment.

The activities involve in HRM function are pervasive throughout the organization. Line managers; typically spend more than 50 percent of their time for human resource activities such as hiring, evaluating, and scheduling employees. Major HRM responsibilities include work design and job analysis, training and development, recruiting, compensation, team-building, performance management and appraisal, worker health and safety issues, as well as identifying or developing valid methods for selecting staff.

Statement of the Problem

General

The agency’s lack of recruitment system slows down recruitment process due to manually handling system records, in which they have to file each applicant records every day. And the manual way of handling time records are a huge disadvantage in fulfilling the company’s duties and responsibility.

Specific

Slow processing due to lack of organized applicant forms, time records and data base. That may cause loss of record due to mishandling.
