Thank you for purchasing this HP Deskjet printer. This user manual contains instructions for setting up and using your printer. Your HP printer is a user friendly printer designed to give years of use with proper care and use. HAZARDS

WARNING- ELECTRICITY

Shock hazard

• Use care when plugging and unplugging this printer from the wall outlet or power strip.

• Do not touch the metal prongs on the plug end while plugging or unplugging.

• It is recommended to use a UL listed surge suppressor/power strip.

Fluid Hazard

• Do not place fluid containers (coffee cups, soda cans, bottled water) on or near the printer. Fluid spills can permanently damage the printer and present a shock hazard.

Print Cartridges

• The ink in the cartridge is toxic. In case of accidental ingestion, call the national poison control number immediately. For a poison emergency in the U.S. call 1-800-222-1222.

• Store print cartridges in a safe place.
