Kudler Fine Foods is a local upscale specialty food store located in the San Diego, California metropolitan area. The company has three locations; La Jolla, Del Mar and Encinitas. The stores are stocked with the very best domestic and imported gourmet ingredients; in addition, it is divided into different departments that are specialized to carry the best products. At Kudler Fine Foods, a new sales and marketing team will be restructured to align with the new initiatives the organization is currently striving for. The restructure will include five new positions to take on new responsibilities. First, the job descriptions and qualifications for the five new positions will be discussed. Then, the training program will be introduced to enhance the skills and qualifications of the new and current employees. Methods for evaluating employee and team performance, including a discipline process will be determined. Challenges of team performance will be evaluated including several factors. Incentive and benefit packages will be presented to upper management for the new team. Strategies for managing employees’ career development will be offered by promotion and educational opportunities. Lastly, a fair and appropriate compensation plan will be established.

Job Descriptions and Qualifications

As a mid-level position Project Manager, I support the sales and marketing team. My job is to research, develop, and rollout new marketing programs for Kudler Fine Foods including cooking classes and frequent buyer points program. The position requires planning, scheduling, and coordinating all marketing projects, from concept to delivery for all internal and external customers.
