The key to a successful business is to have a good plan to implement public relations (PR) and the strategy to handle any negative situations that may arise from the initiatives. The most important element of any plan is to have good public rapport; from food selection, to promoting community responsibility.  There are many ways that a company can initiate a relationship, but have many considerations to analyze before doing so from understanding the PR issues and determining the target audience to analyzing the best approach and developing a market research plan.

PR Issues

Kudler Fine Foods is attempting to re-evaluate its current and future Public Relations (PR) campaigns. One issue that the company faces is the internal issues within the company. To obtain good corporate citizenship Kudler Fine Foods must reduce all types of waste. This process shows the public that the company is taking responsibility to the environment. Corporate can inspire their employees to monitor the electricity used daily and check inventory weekly. Kudler Fine Foods can get involved with the community by donating food for local events. If public relations probably can share how they recycle waste it will show the community that they are aware of the status of the environment. These tools will help improve the company’s image with the community and its employees. The company can develop a strategy plan to help sustain the business and ensure profit.

Public Relations can make good use of crisis management by creating a system that monitors goods coming in and out. At times it is not the customers who need monitoring but the employees at times steal goods from the company.
