IV – Imus Sir. Rold delos Santos

My College Life

End of the second chapter of my life is nearly going to happen. I’m about to enter the next chapter of my education. College life is about to begin.

As I choose the school where I am going to study, I considered my family’s INCOME. The NEEDS of my family may be affected by my high tuition FEES. I considered the EXPENSES that we have at home and think over if the school that I am going to choose is just a WANT or a NEED. This is what I learned from our ECONOMICS class.

This coming school year I am dreaming of what will happen to me. I am going to be an independent woman. As I live alone in a city, I have to know how to MANAGE my MONEY. I have to know when to use it for my GOODS, SUPPLIES and CONSUME it properly because the PRICES of it might give me a NET LOSS and nothing would be left for my other EXPENSES. I must be very careful when to use my money on LUXURY.

At school, I might be pressured on what line of work I might fall. I could be a part of BLUE COLLAR JOBS or WHITE COLLAR JOBS of our LABOR FORCE. I should study well so that I could fall on the INDUSTRY that I really want.

As I am studying I would meet professors whose DEMANDS are so big and would just give me low grades. Also, I would meet new classmates that belong to the high SOCIETY that has high STANDARDS OF LIVING.

Finally, my life in college should not focus on my ACHIEVEMENT inside the campus, rather I should be more prepared for the challenge after it. I have to be a part of the EMPLOYED citizen and not to the UNEMPLOYED or even the UNDEREMPLOYED citizens.
