Introduction

In the article, “Diet of Fish ‘Can Prevent’ Teen Violence” tries to explain how feeding your children a rich diet of fish can prevent them from having violent outbreaks later on in their life. It tries to explain when young children are fed a great deal of omega-3, will help stabilize the frontal cortex of the brain and children will make better decisions with their lives when they are in their late teens and early twenties. They say that these omega-3 fatty acids help teens reduce their urge to have a violent outbreak and they will be more logical.

There are many studies that you can look at trying to find ways to explain sociological events or ways that people examine or look at our society. The article about how a diet rich in fish, omega-3 fatty acids, has no relevance whatsoever to the title and had no sources that could have been references for a published article. But there are points that need to be stated: independent and dependent variable, also a third variable. There are problems that people could face too when just seeing the title of the article, so there needs to be a better article header.

Having to identify the variables is important factor in trying to grasp the concept of the article. The independent variable of the article would the diet. It was on a change between the three or four different groups, the diet although had no effect on the subjects. It is protein rich, but having no effect on the many subjects tested. The dependent variable is the groups: both controlled and tested. I say this because they truly depend on how the diet or independent variable works on the subjects. The third subject would be the murders. This is a factor in the results because they are comparing these mass killers to children that could just be having a temper tantrum....
