DATA GATHERING

This chapter is focuses in the process of gathering and collecting data from the client that set as a guide to develop the system.

Data Gathering Procedures

First, the proponents prepared a letter and let it signed by the professor as an authentication while scouting the client in order for proponents to be approved by the company and sequentially allow the students to gather information that may help in developing the computerized system.

Next, the proponents organized an interview and questionnaires with the owner of the R-TWIN Trading and construction Supply to ask and gather information about the flow of the company and how it generally works in each transaction. This is the time when the proponents ask important facts that can help regarding the improvement of the system.

The proponents set an appointment again in the pharmacy to have an on-site observation in order to understand more about the organizations working process. Also, this is the point in requesting to the owner if the proponents can have a sample forms and reports that are.issuing by the company. Lastly, proponents should analyzed and choose what would be the applicable system that suit to the needs of the client.

Data Gathering Procedures

This study used the interview and questionnaires to gather information about the company. Moreover, the proponents had done the method of on-site interview in order to understand the natural flow that happens in the organization. Additionally, to gain more ideas from the company the proponents made a research to support the data that had gained from the interview.

Research

The proponents used the research method to be able to gather information concerning the process that encountering in normal work hours of R-twin and Construction supply. The proponents also collected numerous documents such as forms and reports that the company uses in every transaction.
