1.) Abstract
Sari-sari Stores are small neighborhood retail shops started and run by women micro entrepreneurs from their homes. Quite often these micro-entrepreneur mothers – or Nanays – who engage in this microbusiness in order to augment their family’s income. With more than one million sari-sari stores present in the Philippines, this store has become a major part of Filipinos’ way of life. It is no wonder then that the humble sari-sari store stands for many things: an extended pantry supplying the community’s daily needs, a representation of an average Filipino’s means of living, a colorful cultural icon, a massive distribution channel, and a lot more. Some of the problems they encountered are the following:
1. How does competition affect their income?
2. What are the right goods to be sell?
3. How to control credit purchases?
4. How maintain the growth of the store?
FINDINGS:
Based on the information we collected from the vendor. A credit purchase is one of the primary reasons why many small businesses like sari-sari store leads to bankruptcy. For the reason that other customers do not pay their credit on the agreed period of time, while others continuously adding their credit purchases until they cannot pay all their debt. Moreover,
