Part A (4 X 5 = 20 Marks) Answer any FOUR from the following questions

1. Write short notes on the Project Life Cycle?

2. Differentiate between CPM, PERT and Gantt Chart?

3. What is feasibility study? List out the types of feasibility studies and explain any TWO of them briefly?

4. Briefly explain the traits and skills required for a project manager?

5. Discuss briefly about the Top-Down times & cost estimation methods?

6. Write about the different options/methods for crashing activities when resources are not constrained?

Part B = 40 Marks

7. If the indirect costs for each duration are Rs. 1,200 for 16 weeks, Rs. 1,130 for 15 weeks, Rs. 1,000 for 14 weeks, Rs. 900 for 13 weeks, Rs. 860 for 12 weeks and Rs. 790 for 10 weeks, compute the total cost for each duration. Plot these costs on a graph. What is the optimum cost-time schedule? (7 Marks)
