Leaders can influence others in different ways. We should not keep the idea that a leader is defined by the position neither the power. By the contrary, leaders should sacrifice and serve others same as Christ did it releasing our hearts from the needs of supremacy, control, and greediness.

When a business is having ethical issues, it is very difficult to run it correctly. In this case, the employees were doing whatever they wanted when the team took over.

The employee behavior, in this instance, becomes unethical. This should be corrected immediately. They should be go to regular trainings on the code of standards to set in a responsible business conduct. They should be frank if they have any concern.

However, as people are made in God’s image, they need to be treated appropriately. The management styles depend on a business. It needs to be adapted depending on each particular situations. In general, top-down management style is not the most appropriate for a leader to use at the time of running a business. It is imperative to communicate the necessity of getting the job done and what are the expectations while being very specific. In addition, mechanistic changes are not always well accepted by the employees, and they can be very challenging.

In this case, team-based management style will be better applied to this company. Key employees should be able to participate in this process together with the leaders. This will help to clarify the roles, and the communication will get better within the organization. At the same time, no preference should be made for any employees. It is important to keep in mind that some of them are going to be pure while others are going to sinful.
