The Crash

In the end my ignorance got the better of me. Before I explain how I lost my car let me go back a couple of hours. It started off with my friends calling me to go smoke with them by the train tracks on 63rd and Central park. I meet them up, we climb up to the train tracks. I first noticed drops hitting me on my shoulder. So I look towards the sky and I see the gloomy clouds creeping from the west. I was interrupted by the voice of my friend Andy telling me to walk towards the abandoned building up ahead. Once there I pull out the marijuana and start to roll, then I heard the thunder. It reminded me like the roar of a lion it caught me off guard. I look up and see through the broken wall in which we entered. It seemed as if the hole in the wall was patched up by the water. I ignored this and look at my hands to see I finished the roll. I sparked it and passed it to my left then I heard it.

The phone rang in my cargo pants, so I grabbed it to see who it was. It was Maria a girl that I've hooked up before. She asked for a ride home. I knew what that meant. I said yes and that I'll be there later then. I hung up, looked at my friends and gave them the look knowing what's happening. By then the thunderstorm became a drizzle. I stepped out and smelled the air the scent was a sweet smell reminding me its summer. We headed down the tracks towards my car and I said goodbye to my friends. This was the start to my downfall. I stepped on the gas and sped off. Once I reached the highway I pushed the car to 80 Mph. It was smooth sailing till half way there. When road split to get to different interstate I decided to drift the car on the turn. I skidded a bit feeling as if I was going to lose control of the car. I had a slight rush and wanted more of this adrenaline rush. I snapchated my friends showing the speed I was going. I was warned with a reply that I was going to crash. I should have listened to his advice but I was a stubborn person. I reach the location...
