PIE HOUSE

II. DESCRIPTION:

A pie is a baked dish which is usually made of a pastry dough casing that covers or completely contains a filling of various sweet or savoury ingredients. Pies are defined by their crusts. Some of these pies are pies in name only, such as the Boston cream pie, which is a cake. Many fruit and berry pies are very similar, varying only the fruit used in filling. Fillings for sweet or fruity are often mixed, such as Strawberry rhubarb pie, Apple pie, Blackberry pie, Blueberry pie, Buko pie, Cherry pie, Cream pie, Custard pie.

Pies means Thanksgiving and Christmas and picnics. It could be argued that there is an element of entertainment in every pie, as every pie is inherently a surprise by virtue of its crust. The First Law of Pies: “No Pastry, No Pie.” “The Second Law of Pies: they must be baked, not fried (or boiled, or steamed).”

IV. TARGET BENEFICIARIES:

Teenagers. They go out for fast food more than any other age group. They have disposable income which they tend to spend on immediate gratification items. Because this individuals are the most open to try new foods. They are vitally important in building an effective word-of-mouth.

Young Adults and Business people. They have the potential of providing large volume sales to the company during the peak hours. The lunch business is driven by individuals. Many go out to lunch to get out of the office setting or have business meetings at lunch either in or out of the office. The proponents will endeavor to accommodate surrounding businesses placing phone in orders for business meetings. Satisfaction of this group will provide a vital long term revenue stream.

Families and Students. They are a growing population, both numerically and in their choice for convenient foods. 2-income families have less time to prepare meals so they an uneasy group to...
