Since I can remember I always wanted to become a registered nurse. I knew the day that I had to take care of my grandmother that I wanted to take care of people and help people to be best of my ability. Coming into high school I had my mind set and was ready for journey. I had planned to take all the classes that could help me persure my lifetime goal of becoming a registered nurse. Looking back now, it was harder than I expected.

During my freshman year is where my journey started. I took Principles of Health Sciences, which was a challenging class. I remember thinking many time "is this really what I want to do with my life?" I knew this was my calling. With a lot of studying and dedication, I passed the class with an A. I knew that I wasn't going to let anyone or anything stand in my way. I knew what I wanted to do with my life and I wasn't going to accept anything less.

I became a sophomore. I took more classes to help me become closer to my dream. I took medical terminology; a more challenging class to test my abilites. I learned three hundred and fifty words that could make eleven thousand medical terms. I didn't think my brain was cappable of obtaining so much information, and I was shocked when I passed my test and didn't miss one word. I was shocked when I received a 100% on my final. After one sesmester the class switched to CPR. The classes kept getting harder and harder, but I wasn't giving up. I learned many things in this class, but the most important was at the end of my sophomore year I was cardio respitory resuscitation (CPR) certified. I was very happy. All I thought was "I'm getting closer and closer!"

Time went by. I became a junior. The final class is Nursing Assistant. I was stunned when I found out that I could become a state certified nurse assistant during my junior year of high school. This class was the hardest...
