You wake up in the morning getting ready for school. You eat breakfast and start getting dressed. When you pick out your clothes you don't think of putting on a polo and khaki pants. You want to put on your favorite t-shirt and jeans. But you can't you would be out of dress code. Schools think it would protect us from bullies.Shouldn't you be able to wear what you want?School uniforms should be banned because they aren't shields that protect us, they don't change who we are,and they aren't letting us express who we are.

Schools think if we wear uniforms it will stop us from bullying and fighting. Clothes do not protect us. We protect ourselves from other people. Schools are so dependent on clothes sometimes more than learning. I try to get away from schools that have a dress code. But they just suck me back in. Nobody likes a dress code but why do schools require them?; facts. They look at the facts about having uniforms. But do they look at the other facts about not having uniforms?

Uniforms cannot deter the larger issue of violence and drug abuse in schools. This is one of the facts that the schools don't look at when deciding a dress code. They look at the facts that support them but I have more.Imposing uniforms on children infringes on their constitutional rights."The First Amendment to the United States Constitution gives every individual the right to express themselves freely. By imposing uniforms on children, schools take away this right from them."Technically dress codes are illegal. We should be able to wear what we want to.

Some schools that require uniforms have benefits too. "While bullying may not stop, use of uniform at least prevents students who aren't dressed fashionably or according to the latest trends, from getting picked on for their choice of clothes." If we had a dress code we would not get bullied for what we wear. It would be something like looks, interest, or friends. We can stand up to bullies by hanging...
