INTRODUCTION

The pace and constant change of technology over time creates both significant opportunities and challenges for schools. Schools strive to catch up as digital innovations emerge that require upgrading schools’ technological infrastructure and building new professional development programs. They continue to battle to keep pace with ever increasing demands to upgrade their technological infrastructure, as it has now become one of the factors for parents on their choice of school for their children. Some schools have been adept at keeping up with those demands, while many others are falling far behind.

One of the complicated tasks in school is the effective handling of all the processes and procedures. And with the present advance technological trends, it is crucial to be updated of these to remain competitive and to ensure higher productivity. Apart from offering high quality education with a structured curriculum and competitive faculty members, it would be a relatively good notion to optimize the school operations especially on its enrollment system. The School Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system prove to be a good technique for meeting the needs of the clients as well as to put a control on the enrollment and accounting operations.

ASSESSMENT OF THE CURRENT SITUATION

S. V. Montessori (SVM) is a private, non-sectarian, co-educational institution established in 1993 in Bahayang Pagasa Subdivision, Imus City, Cavite. SVM has an approximate population of 200 preschool, elementary and high school students.
